Oh No You Did'Nit

Tonight I put my work out onto the internet live in the form of a Google Hangout. It's a live webcast so to speak where people can come join in and watch me draw. You can chat and talk with each other, and share links and what not!

I had one visitor on my very first Hangout, which is sweet since the camera I used is ghetto, even for Wyoming!

Here is what I drew in about and hour and a half.

Ygritte PreDraw

A pre-draw for an upcoming portrait I'm working up to working on. This is a study of lighting and a way to learn the quirks of her gorgeous face! This was about 1.5 hours or so, give or take. If you don't watch Game of Thrones, and need a new show to watch, check it out!

Michelangelo's Spider-Man

Interesting study here tonight, took a classic statue of Michelangelo and slapped a Spidey skin on him. Spent 45 minutes on this piece. 5" x 7" HB, 2B pencil

I've been drawing Ripleigh as she plays Sims 3. This game is like crack to her. Worse than WOW I think. So while she plays her daily allotted time, she moves very little. So out came this image from a set of drawings. Each piece is done a little different way and style. I think this one is the most presentable.

Cylinders and a few balls!

Another sketch lesson. Tone and Background

Sketch Lessons with female form

[MILD NUDITY]
Sketch lessons this time. Simple technique driven practice involving the human form. I love drawing the female body, curves are super sexy!

This was a focus on the edge between light and dark. Proportions were not important.

Same figure, different lighting this time with an emphasis on proportion and contour.

How about a little digital art for fun. Well traditional pencil and paper art transformed into digital art. This is again, my 1st foray into real digital art. I cant wait to do more, and possible do a comic here in the near future. Enjoy a logo process from start to finish.

Rough sketch to set body position

Redrawn wire frame then started laying in body shape.

Added the cake adjusted the cupcake and cleaned up a bit. Customer didnt like face enough so I redrew for more cartoony/pinup look.

Finished pencil then inked for scanning.

Finished Piece. Does it look like a legit logo? Either way it is exactly what my customer wanted.
