Working on using color theory hoohaww, I think? I used just primary colors only, and white.

Avalanche Coffee Mug - Oil Pastel

Went to the store today and picked up some cheap oil pastels. Never used them before but I describe it as a perfect mix of crayola crayons and chalk pastels. A far more forgiving medium than I thought, and intially I was not happy with them. 

Yet as I started to get a feel for how they worked, they really grew on me.

Ive been facisnated by the free pastels I was given at the sidewalk chalk festival. I just cannot get enough of their highly forgiving super fun characteristics.

My submission to the Central Wyoming Fair and Rodeo Side Walk Chalk Festival, what a name..

Bacon on the Range was ~ 8' x 12' and sadly washed away a few hours after completion.
